Time: 2 minutes. Approval: none. You need: the X account you want to post to.

Connect

In the app, open Connections > X. It says it uses SocioRelay's own app: there are no keys to copy.
Press Log in: (your brand). Sign in to X in the window that opens, if asked, and press Authorize app.
Back in the app, X shows as connected. Write a short test post, tick only X and press Post now.
Second brand with its own X account? Sign out of X in the browser, sign in as the other account, then press that brand's Log in button.

Your monthly X allowance

X charges for every post made through its API (a post with a link costs about 13 times one without). Your plan includes a monthly X allowance, shown in Licence and plan:

When it's used, X posts wait until the next month while your other platforms carry on. You get an alert.

Only blog promotions carry a link, to keep costs down.
The free trial includes up to 14 X posts to try it. After that, X posting carries on as soon as you choose a plan.

Using your own X developer account (optional)

For very high volumes you can connect your own X developer app instead; X then bills you directly and no allowance applies. Create an app at https://console.x.com (permissions Read and write, type Web App, Automated App or Bot, callback address as shown in Connections), add credit under Billing, then paste its OAuth 2.0 Client ID and Client Secret in Connections > X and press Save keys. Set your own cap in Business and platforms > Extras > X spending cap.

Good to know

X copies are up to 280 characters: the start of the post and two hashtags. Required regulatory wording is kept; the post is shortened around it.
If X logs you out (for example after a password change), press Log in again.
