Terms of service
Last updated: 29 October 2026.
These terms are an agreement between Borderless Talent Hub Ltd, trading as SocioRelay (company number 17159522, registered in England and Wales, registered office Office 1101, 60 Tottenham Court Road, Fitzrovia, London, W1T 2EW, United Kingdom) ("we", "us") and the business that subscribes to or uses SocioRelay ("you"). SocioRelay is a trading name, not a separate company.
By creating an account, starting a trial, buying a plan or using SocioRelay, you accept:
- these terms, including section 7 on AI-written content and automatic posting;
- the Data Processing Terms;
- the Acceptable Use Policy;
- the Refund and Cancellation Policy;
- the AI Credits Terms, if you use AI credits.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.
1. What SocioRelay is
1.1 A hosted service. SocioRelay is software that plans, writes (optionally with AI) and publishes posts to the social media platforms and website you connect, through those platforms' official interfaces. Each business gets its own SocioRelay app, run by us on our servers in the United Kingdom, which you use through a web browser. There is nothing to install, and there is no desktop version. 1.2 The website. At sociorelay.com you buy and manage your plan, and use optional services: AI credits, royalty-free photo search, AI images, client review links and the SocioRelay API. 1.3 Your content and connections. We store your posts, settings, connected platform logins and keys in your app so that it can publish for you. We process them only to provide the service, as set out in the Data Processing Terms.
2. Who may use it
2.1 You must be a business or acting for a business, and at least 18. You confirm you have authority to bind the business. Everyone you let sign in to your account or your app must also be at least 18. SocioRelay is not for consumers or children. 2.2 If you are a consumer (not acting for a business), the consumer sections of the Refund and Cancellation Policy apply and your statutory rights are not affected. 2.3 Accurate details. You must give accurate details, including your business's name, postal address and company number if it has one, and keep them up to date. We may check them, including with Companies House. We may decline or suspend an account we can't verify or reasonably suspect of misuse. 2.4 Security. Keep your sign-in details secure and turn on two-step sign-in. You are responsible for what is done with your account and app, including by people you give access to.
3. Plans and apps
3.1 One app per plan. Each plan gives you one app (the Agency plan gives one app for each client business) and the number of social accounts shown on our pricing page. On the Agency plan, extra social accounts and extra X posting are given to one client app each, as you choose in your account. You may use the app's social accounts for more than one business you own or control; those businesses then share that app's settings. Publishing for clients or other people's businesses needs the Agency plan. 3.2 Social accounts. A social account is each place you publish to: a Facebook Page, an Instagram profile, a LinkedIn profile or page, an X, Threads, Bluesky, TikTok or Pinterest account, a YouTube channel, or a Google Business Profile location. Your plan's accounts can be on any platforms the plan includes. An account is counted the first time your app publishes to it, and reconnecting the same account does not count again. When all your plan's accounts are in use, you may replace one with another once per calendar month; more need extra social accounts or our agreement. 3.3 No sharing or reselling. You may not share or resell access to the service, sublicense it, or use one plan to publish for clients, except as the Agency plan allows. 3.4 Locked features. Platforms and features not in your plan are locked. On plans that cover a smaller number of accounts, the platforms used are the ones you switch on, up to your number of accounts. 3.5 X (Twitter) allowance. X charges for every post. When your app posts to X through SocioRelay's own X connection, your plan includes a monthly X allowance, shown on our pricing page and in the app and measured by what X charges, so a post with a link uses about 13 times as much as one without. X posting pauses at the allowance until the next month while your other platforms carry on; the Extra X posting add-on adds more. If you connect your own X developer account instead, X bills you directly and no allowance applies.
4. Free trial
4.1 You may try the Growth plan free for 14 days, once per business. No payment details are needed. Posting to X through SocioRelay's own X connection is limited to 14 posts for the whole trial (section 3.5). 4.2 A trial never turns into a paid subscription by itself. When it ends, publishing pauses and your app and data are kept for 30 days (section 11.3). 4.3 There is no free plan.
5. Fees and billing
5.1 Billing. Plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through our payment provider Stripe, and renew automatically until cancelled. There is no minimum term. Prices are shown before you pay and exclude VAT unless stated. If your business is outside the UK, our prices don't include your country's taxes; where your country taxes services bought from abroad (for example under the reverse charge), you account for that tax. 5.2 Changes. You may add or remove platforms and add-ons at any time in your account; changes are prorated as shown before you confirm. 5.3 Failed payments. If a payment fails, Stripe will try again and we will tell you. If the subscription ends for non-payment, publishing pauses as in section 11.3. 5.4 Price changes. We aim to keep your price unchanged for 12 months from the start of your subscription, and after that we may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. Plan allowances (such as monthly AI credits and X posts) are part of the price and follow the same rules. 5.5 Changes in third-party costs. Parts of SocioRelay depend on services we pay for by use, such as AI models, image generation, platform interfaces that charge per post (for example X) and payment processing. If the cost of any of these rises significantly, or a platform starts charging for something that was free, we may, at any time, including within the first 12 months, do one or more of the following with at least 30 days' notice: change the credits needed per AI draft or image; reduce the AI credits or X posts included in your plan; withdraw an affected feature; or increase your price by an amount that reflects the extra cost to us. We will tell you what is changing and why. The change applies from your next renewal after the notice period. If you don't accept it, you may cancel before it applies; if you paid for a year in advance and cancel because of a price increase under this clause, we will refund the unused months in full. 5.6 Introductory offers. Where offered (for example the founding-customer offer, or half price for an Agency plan's first 12 months), the discount applies for the period stated at checkout, while the subscription continues without a break. 5.7 Other purchases. One-off services (such as done-for-you setup) are described where you buy them. AI credits are covered by the AI Credits Terms.
6. Your accounts, content and responsibilities
6.1 Your connected accounts. You connect your own social media, website and AI accounts. Only connect accounts you are authorised to manage. If you manage accounts for clients, you confirm each client has authorised you, including for the Data Processing Terms. 6.2 Your content and the law. You are responsible for all content published through your app, and for complying with each platform's terms, advertising rules and the law. That includes advertising codes and rules in your industry, consumer protection, intellectual property, defamation, data protection and privacy. 6.3 Acceptable use. You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy, and make sure your team, clients and anyone you share a review link with do too. Keep review links private. 6.4 Platforms. Platforms may change or withdraw their interfaces, or restrict your account. We are not responsible for platform decisions or outages, but we will try to adapt the service within a reasonable time.
7. AI-written content, automatic posting and safeguards
7.1 SocioRelay is an automation tool. It connects an AI model (through our AI credits service, or the AI provider you choose) with your platforms and website so you can draft, schedule and publish content. We do not write, edit, check, approve or endorse any content, and we are not a publisher of your content. 7.2 AI output can be wrong. AI models produce text and images by prediction. Their output can be inaccurate, invented, out of date, offensive, biased, legally non-compliant, or similar to other people's material. That includes facts, prices, offers, health, financial or legal statements, names, quotes and hashtags. We do not promise that AI output is accurate, original, lawful, suitable for your business or free of third-party rights. 7.3 You are responsible for what is published. Anything published through your app is your content and your responsibility, whether you, your team, a client, the API or an AI wrote it, and whether it was approved by a person or published automatically. 7.4 Approval modes. You choose how drafts are approved, and the choice is yours:
- Hold for approval (the default): nothing is scheduled until someone approves it.
- Two-stage approval: a manager approves, then your client.
- Post unless I stop it: drafts are scheduled automatically unless rejected within the time shown.
- Fully automatic: drafts are scheduled without anyone approving them. By turning on "post unless I stop it" or "fully automatic", you accept that content may be published that no person has read, and you accept the risk of that.
7.5 Safeguards we provide. We apply these safeguards to reduce, but not remove, the risk of AI mistakes:
- drafts follow your house style and banned-word rules, and the advertising rules we hold for your industry;
- drafts containing gaps such as [PRICE], [NUMBER] or [NAME] are always held for a person;
- posts with links, and replies to reviews, are held for approval unless you change this;
- fully automatic posting is not available to businesses in finance, health, legal or property;
- a client approval setting always takes priority over automatic posting;
- an approved post that is changed goes back for approval;
- you can cancel or delete a scheduled post at any time before it is published;
- for businesses in regulated industries (and any business that lists its own trusted websites), AI articles are written only from pages the app has opened on official and trusted websites, each claim is linked to its page and a Sources list is added. Those pages can still be out of date, incomplete or misread by the AI, so you must check each claim against its source before approving;
- the monthly newsletter is written only from your own posts and articles of that month, and is never published until you approve it. These are tools to help you, not a check of legality, accuracy or suitability. We may change or improve them.
7.6 Your checks. You must:
- read and correct drafts before approving them;
- keep your industry and business details accurate;
- use automatic modes only where you are comfortable with unread posts going out;
- remove or correct anything published in error as soon as you become aware of it.
7.7 Third-party AI and platforms. AI providers (for example Anthropic, OpenAI and Google) and social media platforms are independent third parties with their own terms. We are not responsible for their services, outputs, availability, decisions or how they handle the data sent to them. 7.8 No liability for AI mistakes. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss, damage, claim, fine, complaint, account restriction or cost arising from:
- AI-generated content;
- content published through your app, whether approved by a person or published automatically;
- your choice of approval mode;
- your reliance on any draft, suggestion, topic, hashtag, "best time" or report. Section 13.1 still applies.
7.9 Indemnity. You will indemnify us against third-party claims, fines and reasonable costs (including legal costs) arising from content published through your app, or from your breach of section 6 or 7. We will tell you promptly about any such claim and let you take part in its defence.
8. Photos, images and music
8.1 Stock photos found through SocioRelay come from Pexels or Pixabay, as shown in the search, and are covered by that library's licence: the Pexels licence (https://www.pexels.com/license/) or the Pixabay Content License (https://pixabay.com/service/license-summary/). Both allow free use, including commercially and on social media, without credit. Under those licences you must not:
- suggest that people or brands shown endorse you, or use a photo in a misleading or deceptive way;
- show identifiable people in a bad light, or use a photo in an immoral or illegal way;
- sell or distribute unaltered copies;
- use a photo showing recognisable trade marks, logos or brands for commercial purposes;
- use the photos in a trade mark or business name. Some photos may show things protected by other rights (for example a building, artwork or person); check you don't need anyone's permission for your use.
8.2 AI images are created by an AI image model at your request. You may use them for your business, but as with any AI output we can't promise they're unique or protected by copyright, or that they never resemble existing works. Check every image before you publish it. 8.3 Your own images. If you add your own images, you confirm you own them or have a licence to use them. 8.4 SocioRelay music. The background music tracks in SocioRelay are owned by us. While you subscribe you may use them, royalty-free, in videos made with SocioRelay for your business, including commercial and promotional use on any platform, and those videos may stay online after your subscription ends. You may not sell or share the tracks on their own, or register them with Content ID or any music library. 8.5 Your own music. If you upload music for your videos, you confirm, each time you upload, that you own it or hold a licence that allows it to be used in business and promotional videos on the platforms you post to. Buying or streaming a song (for example on iTunes or Spotify) does not give you that right, and most commercially released music is not allowed. Platforms detect copyrighted music: they may mute, block or remove your video, or restrict your account, and that is your responsibility. We keep a record of each upload and your confirmation. Your music stays in your own app and is used only for your videos. If we receive a copyright complaint about your music, or have reason to believe you do not hold the rights, we may remove it from your app without notice. Section 7.9 (indemnity) applies to music you upload.
9. The SocioRelay API and integrations
9.1 Plans that include the API let you create API keys to connect other software (for example Zapier or Make). Keep keys secret and revoke any you think are exposed. Anything sent through your keys is treated as sent by you. 9.2 Drafts created through the API follow the approval mode of the business they are sent to. 9.3 We may limit request rates, and suspend keys used in breach of these terms or in a way that harms the service. Third-party automation services are governed by their own terms and charges.
10. Service, support and our intellectual property
10.1 Availability. We run your app on our servers and aim for it to be available 99.5% of each month, excluding planned maintenance, which we announce in advance where we can. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. If posting is delayed by an outage, your app publishes what was due as soon as it can. 10.2 Backups. We back up your app every night and keep backups for up to 6 months. A backup can be restored on request where possible. 10.3 Updates. We update the service to keep it working with platforms and to improve it. Updates are applied for you. 10.4 Support. Support for paid plans is by email at info@sociorelay.com. We aim to reply within 2 working days, or 1 working day on Pro and Agency. 10.5 Our intellectual property. We (and our licensors) own the software, documentation, topic library, designs and our trade marks. You receive a right to use the service while you subscribe. Your content remains yours. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.
11. Suspension and ending
11.1 Cancelling. You may cancel at any time in your account (Plan and billing), without giving a reason (see the Refund and Cancellation Policy). 11.2 Our right to suspend. We may suspend or end your plan or app if:
- you materially breach these terms (for example sharing access, or breaching the Acceptable Use Policy);
- your use puts the service, other customers or a platform relationship at risk;
- a platform or regulator requires it. Where reasonable, we will give notice first.
11.3 When a trial or plan ends. Publishing pauses and your app and data are kept for 30 days, so you can resume or ask for an export. After that we delete the app and its data. Backups expire on their normal cycle (up to 6 months). We keep account and billing records the law requires us to keep.
12. Data protection
For the personal data in your posts, contacts and connected accounts, you are the controller and we are your processor. The Data Processing Terms form part of these terms. For your account and billing data we are the controller (see the Privacy Policy).
13. Liability
13.1 What we don't limit. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected.
13.2 Indirect losses. We are not liable for loss of profits, revenue, business, contracts, goodwill or reputation, for loss or corruption of data (beyond restoring our latest backup), or for any indirect or consequential loss. 13.3 What we are not responsible for. We are not liable for:
- content you publish, or content generated by AI (section 7);
- your choice of approval or automatic posting mode;
- actions or outages of social media platforms, AI providers or other third-party services;
- posts that are missed or delayed by a platform or AI provider;
- your connected accounts being restricted or suspended by a platform.
13.4 Cap. Our total liability to you in any 12 months, however it arises, is limited to the fees you paid us in that period, or £100 if greater. 13.5 Why these limits are reasonable. You agree these limits are reasonable given the low price of the service, your control over what is published, and the availability of insurance for content risks.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will give at least 30 days' notice of material changes by email or in the app. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept them. If you don't agree, you can cancel before then.
15. General
15.1 Whole agreement. These terms, the Data Processing Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, the Refund and Cancellation Policy and (if relevant) the AI Credits Terms are the whole agreement. 15.2 Unenforceable parts and delays. If any part is unenforceable, the rest still applies. Neither of us is liable for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control. 15.3 Third parties. No one other than you and us has rights under these terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999. 15.4 Law. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. 15.5 Contact. info@sociorelay.com, Office 1101, 60 Tottenham Court Road, Fitzrovia, London, W1T 2EW, United Kingdom.
