Accessibility
Last updated: 27 October 2026.
We want everyone to be able to use SocioRelay: this website, your account, and your SocioRelay app. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we have done
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone. A "Skip to main content" link is the first thing on each page, and the item you are on is always clearly outlined.
- Pages use proper headings, landmarks and labels, so screen readers (such as NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver and TalkBack) can find their way around. Every form field has a label, and help text is read out with its field.
- In the app, moving to a new page announces its heading, messages are read out as they appear, and pop-up windows keep keyboard focus inside them and close with Escape.
- Text and buttons meet the WCAG contrast levels, in light and dark mode, and pages work when zoomed to 400% or on a phone.
- We avoid flashing content and respect your device's "reduce motion" setting.
- You can add a description (alt text) to every image you post, so people using screen readers on social media know what it shows.
Known limitations
- Some third-party pages we link to (Stripe checkout, and each platform's own login and permission screens) are run by those companies and follow their own accessibility standards.
- Charts on the Reports page show colours and lines; the same numbers are in the table below each chart ("Show as a table").
