AI credits terms

  1. What credits are. AI credits let your SocioRelay app write first drafts, and create AI images, using our AI service, without your own AI account. A typical social post uses 1 credit, a blog article about 3, and an AI image 4. The exact number for writing depends on length (it is worked out from the tokens the AI processes) and is shown after each draft.
  2. Buying. Credits are included each month with paid plans and trials, and can be bought in packs (100 credits for £4, 500 for £15, plus VAT where it applies). Prices are shown before you pay.
  3. Validity. Purchased credits are valid for 12 months from purchase and are shared by all the apps on your account. Credits included with a plan or trial are given to each app each calendar month, are used before purchased credits, and do not roll over.
  4. No cash value. Credits cannot be exchanged for money or transferred to another account.
  5. Refunds. Unused purchased credits can be refunded within 14 days of purchase. Used credits, and credits included with a plan or trial, are not refundable. Statutory consumer rights are not affected.
  6. Your responsibility for drafts and images. The AI credits service only passes your request to a third-party AI model (Anthropic's Claude for writing, OpenAI's image model for images) and returns its output. We do not write, check or endorse the wording, content or images and are not responsible for them. AI output can be wrong, misleading or unsuitable. Review and edit everything before publishing; you are responsible for what you publish (see section 7 of the Terms of Service, which explains AI mistakes, approval modes and our safeguards, and the Acceptable Use Policy).
  7. Fair use. Credits are for your business's own content through the app. Automated or bulk use outside the app is not allowed, and we may limit requests per hour to keep the service fast for everyone.
  8. Changes. We may change the AI model, the credits needed per draft or image, the credits included with plans, or the price of credit packs to reflect our providers' costs, with 30 days' notice of any increase (see section 5.5 of the Terms of Service). Credits already bought keep their value at the rate when bought for 3 months; after that, the current rate applies. If you don't accept an increase, you can ask for a refund of unused purchased credits within the notice period.
