Connect your platforms and website
Time: 10 to 30 minutes for social accounts, plus 5 to 15 minutes for your website. You need: the logins for each social account (with admin rights on business pages), and for your website, an admin login (or the person who manages it). Most customers do this themselves. If you'd rather we do it with you on a video call, see Paid help at the end.
Before you start: have these ready
- Facebook: you are an admin of the Facebook Page (Page settings > Page access).
- Instagram: a Business or Creator account, linked to your Facebook Page (Instagram app > Settings > Account type and tools; then in the Page's settings, Linked accounts > Instagram).
- Pinterest: a business account (Settings > Account management > Convert to business).
- Google Business Profile: a verified profile where you are the Owner or a Manager.
- YouTube: the Google account that owns the channel (or is a Manager of it).
- Bluesky: an app password (Bluesky > Settings > Privacy and security > App passwords > Add).
- Password manager open, so you can sign in quickly. You never give us your passwords: each platform asks you directly and gives the app permission to post.
Part 1: Social accounts (every platform)
- In your app, open Connections.
- Choose the platform. Where it says Uses SocioRelay's own app for this platform: just log in below, there are no keys to copy.
- Press Log in, sign in to the platform in the window that opens, and press Allow.
- Back in the app the platform shows Connected. Press Test where shown.
- Repeat for each platform. Each connected profile, page or channel counts as one social account in your plan.

Available now: X, LinkedIn (personal profiles), Bluesky, YouTube Shorts, Pinterest and your website blog. Early access: Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn company pages. Email info@sociorelay.com with your account name and we'll switch it on for your account, usually the same day; Facebook then shows a request to accept before you log in. Coming soon: Threads, TikTok and Google Business Profile. They open once each platform approves our app; we'll email you, and they're included in your plan.
Part 2: Your website blog
- Find your website system in the table. Not sure which you have? Ask whoever built the site, or look at the bottom of your website's admin page.
- Follow the guide for your system (the help centre has one for each). Each one gives you a key or password to paste into Blog > Add a website.
- Press Save, then Test connection. Then write a short test article and publish it as a draft.

Common problems
- "HTTP 401" or "HTTP 403": the key or password is wrong, or a security plugin (Wordfence, iThemes) or your web host blocks outside tools. Allow it in the plugin, or ask your host.
- No "Application Passwords" in WordPress: the site isn't on https, or a plugin has turned it off.
- Articles appear with the wrong address: set Article address pattern in the website settings (see the guide).
